Edith J. Berarducci, 99, of
McKeesport, formerly of Pittsburgh, died Sunday, July 13, 2014 in Southwestern
Nursing Center, West Mifflin. Born in
Morgantown, West Virginia, September 20, 1914, she was the retired Vice
President of the former Berarducci Brothers Manufacturing Company in
McKeesport, a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church of Pittsburgh, the 1787
Society of Pitt University, and was a graduate of McKeesport High School. Daughter of the late James and Rachel
Morrell, wife of the late Robert J. Berarducci, she is survived by her nephew,
Alfred (Elizabeth) Tedesco of McKeesport, great nephews, A.J. (Louise Wingo)
Tedesco of McKeesport and Tommy Thorne of McKeesport; great nieces, Jodi (Ray)
Templer of Penn Hills and Patti Lynn Braveman of White Oak; great great nieces
and nephews, Nathan Thorne, Caitlyn Templer and Owen Templer; and by her
beloved dogs, Benji, Max, and Oden. Mrs.
Berarducci was preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph and Alfred Morrell, by
her sisters, Ann Pica and Evelyn Tedesco, and by her niece, Patti Ann Thorne. A private family viewing and blessing service
will be held Wednesday, July 16 in the Hunter Funeral Home, Inc., 1600 Coursin
Street, McKeesport, PA 15132 with the
Rev. Matthew Elangileth officiating.
Entombment will follow in the Cardinal Wright Oratory of Calvary
Cemetery Mausoleum in Pittsburgh. The
