Rose Marie Bradley

Rose Marie Bradley died Friday, June 18, 2010 in the Harmar Village Care Center, Cheswick, PA. Born in Smithfield, PA, June 4, 1922, age 88. Of Lower Burrell, formerly of North Versailles, she retired as Secretary of the First United Methodist Church of McKeesport after 10 years of service, and was employed by the Treasury Department in Washington, DC during World War II. Mrs. Bradley was also a piano teacher and taught sewing for the Singer Sewing Company. A former member of the First United Methodist Church of McKeesport, she was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church of Brackenridge, the Circle 8 Square Dance Club, and the East McKeesport “500” Card Club.

Daughter of the late Brant William and Azelma Rohrer Davis; wife of the late Bob A. Bradley, who died November 22, 1987; grandmother of the late Melanie Byrom; she is survived by 2 daughters, Nancy Bradley Tolk of Lower Burrell, PA and Ruth Ann Bradley of Sunrise, FL, 2 sons, Cary W. Bradley of Marietta, GA and Kenneth A. Bradley of Homer City, PA; a sister, Frances A. Sifton of Middlesboro, KY; 6 grandsons, Bradley, David, Tim, Justin, Clark, and Curt; a great grandson, Greyson and a great granddaughter, Ally; also nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the Hunter Funeral Home, Inc., 1600 Coursin Street, McKeesport, PA 15132 on Tuesday, June 22 from 4-8 PM. A service will take place in the funeral home Wednesday, June 23 at

11:00 AM with the Rev. Thomas L. Funk officiating. Interment will follow in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park.
