Sandra Glus

Sandra “Sandie” Diane (Noonan) Glus of Jefferson Hills, PA died May 24, 2012 while in the tender care of Family Hospice. Sandie was born June 10, 1949 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late John T. Noonan Sr and Beulah Lee (Rounds) Noonan. Sandie was a loving wife to William (Bill) Glus and beloved Mother to Rhonda Lynn (Noonan) Elliott husband Don of Edgewater, FL and Stacie Marie (Noonan) Harper husband Kristopher of Glassport, PA and Step Mother to Robert Glus wife Lisa (Hummelstown, PA) and Jennifer Glus (Glassport, PA). She was the youngest of five siblings. She was preceded in death by her brother John T. Noonan and sister Geraldine Spencer, Brother in law Dan Glus along with nieces Patricia Esken and Sharon Voltz-Hinton. Her remaining siblings are Joanne Voltz of Hazelwood, PA, Linda Delgado of Homestead, PA, James and Anita Glus (North Versailles) and Fritzie Glus of (North Braddock). She also has 14 remaining nieces and nephews. Sandie graduated from Gladstone High School in 1967 and stayed home to raise her two children. She moved to McKeesport and worked at S&S Taxi before finally settling in Jefferson Hills with Bill working side by side with him at South Hills Bowl. She loved Garfield the Cat, Arts and Crafts and Bowling. She was especially proud of her dog Buster who brought her many hours of companionship and happiness. Sandie was a proud Grandmother to Amanda (New Smyrna Beach, FL), John Andrew (Munhall, PA), Kelsey (Glassport, PA), Caden (Glassport, PA), Madison (Glassport, PA), Caroline Glus (Hummelstown, PA) and Molly Glus (Hummelstown, PA) and the Great Grandmother to Rayden Potts (New Smyrna Beach, FL). It was her wishes not to have a funeral or viewing so no viewing will be held. Hunter Funeral Home, Inc., 1600 Coursin Street, McKeesport, PA 15132 is in charge of funeral arrangements. We wish to thank everyone at The Family Hospice with special love and prayers of thanks to Mom’s nurses. God will surely have a blessed place for you all in heaven. To everyone that remains-Do not be sad, remember God’s promise in Revelation 21:4-He will wipe every tear from their eyes: there will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.
