William J. Adler

William J. "Pap" Adler died Saturday, March 12, 2005 at UPMC McKeesport. Born in Glassport, August 2, 1926, age 78. Of McKeesport, he was a retired lathe operator at the former Teledyne Firth Sterling. A WW II Army Air Force veteran, he was a member of the North Huntingdon American Legion Post #977, the Italian Miners Association of Hohntown, PA, and the 11th Ward Club.

Son of the late William J.B. and Ida Mae Williams Adler, he is survived by his wife, Eileen Shuman Adler; 4 sons, Robert of N. Huntigdon, William of N. Huntingdon, Denny of McKeesport, and Danny of McKeesport; his daughter, Diane Little of N. Huntingdon; also by 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Friends will be received in the Hunter Funeral Home, Inc., 1600 Coursin Street, McKeesport, PA 15132 Tuesday from 6-9 PM. A service will be held in the funeral home Tuesday at 7:30 PM by the Port Vue American Legion Post #447. Private interment will follow in Richland Cemetery, Dravosburg.
