Robert C. Stevick
Robert Curtis Stevick, 91, of Williamsburg, died at home on January 31, 2008.
Mr. Stevick was born in McKeesport, PA on July 7, 1916 to Roby R. and Robert S. Stevick. He graduated from McKeesport High School in 1934 from Washington and Jefferson College in 1938, and from the University of Pittsburgh in 1971. Mr. Stevick worked in the tool steel business for 32 years, then as a Librarian at the College of William and Mary from 1971 until his retirement in 1981. Between 1942 and 1946 he served as a Lieutenant in the US Navy in the South Pacific Theatre. He was a member of the Scottish Rite, Valley of Pittsburgh, Pollock Lodge 502, Tarentum, PA, Charter Member Sahib Shrine, Sarasota, FL, member of the Masonic Lodge #6 and the Williamsburg Shrine Club, and Bruton Parish Episcopal Church in Williamsburg, VA.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Dorothy Rupert Stevick; his daughter, Susan Rupert Stevick & husband Kenneth L. Webb.
He was preceded in death by his son, Robert S. Stevick II (1959).
